What archetype are you guys using/gonna use for your next class?

kinda curious

 

Currently trying out battle monk warrior since I mained warrior pre 2.0, but I think I'm gonna try ritualist shaman next.

 

Since I’m trying shaman next, I’ll most likely use ritualist until I get to level 90 or so and then switch to Olympic summoner at endgame

 

Currently trying Sharpshooter.
Fire creep deals so much damage, had I known it was this busted I would have used it more during the beta damn.

 

I am fairly new, but hooked; currently level 31 boltslinger. Thinking I may try battle monk next. But I have a tag on question - what level do you get to before you start another? I am assuming you start fresh at level 1 when you start a new class; please correct me if I am wrong. I am thinking I will get pretty far along, probably to the point where progressing is difficult, before doing it. Right now it would be kind of annoying to do what I have done so far again. But if it gets to be a struggle in the 80s or 90s or whatever, I might think back on how much I enjoy it now and decide to spin up another.

 

I've always disliked warrior in previous updates but I think im gonna give it another shot, probably the fallen or paladin

 

Right now I'm playing as a Battle Monk Warrior and whirlwind strike is just plain awesome. Afterwards I plan on playing boltslinger archer.

 

Everyone trying monk/ritualist lmao. I mean, i am trying ritualist myself (mainly coz im waiting for prices to be reasonable) so i cant be really saying anything.

i think i could start battle monk along with ritualist but not 100% sure

 

I'm still in dilemma on which archetype and build I will use on my archer as my main. So far I have 5 build option but all of them has quite low survivability and just doesn't feel right

You indeed start at level one if you create a new class

 

I'm planning on playing acrobat on my next class, but I might try HIC paladin first. Either way, I will probably try to get perfection on my Ritualist first.

 

acrobat = insane hand pain, i love it and you can deal good damage and dodge attacks but ive resorted to shadestepper cuz i dont want carpal tunnel

 

Questions, actually; I was also asking how far along different people get before they spin up another.

I suspect the like was because I mentioned how much I enjoy the game right now and would do it again with a different class or archetype instead of just giving up on it if I get frustrated at higher levels. That's a really good aspect of this game. Some other RPGs I have played, MC or otherwise, if I get to a level that is really frustrating, I usually give up on the game as restarting would just be doing exactly the same thing over again. In wynncraft, it isn't.

Good to know. Arthritis is worst in my thumbs, which is a major part of why I hate parkour. Occasional jumps are fine; it's more being tensed up when having to do several well timed jumps that's really painful. Actually, right index finger is bad also, but in the center knuckle where a node has developed. I don't bend that knuckle much to click so mouse is fine. I use a vertical mouse, or at least that's what they call it; really more like 45 degrees. Good desk chair with arms at right height helps a lot.

 

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to the second question. But I think people just make a new class whenever they want to. It doesn't really matter what level your other classes are, unless you want to play challenge modes (those require certain quests to be finished or having one class lvl50 or something like that).
I've only got two classes, one of which I started to play with a friend and one I want to finish the game with (but I'm very slow). However, I think there are also many people that do it differently, like trying out all classes and then continuing with one.

I think that's also one of the reasons I like Wynn that much!

 

That is one thing that I would restart with a new class for at any time. If I can get one of my kids or a friend to play with me, I would try to keep one in sync and if I wanted to play more often than them, play my other. If they played more than me, I would encourage them to spin up a second also. Being able to do that is yet another thing to like.

 

Am I the only one that plays Acolyte shaman? So far it’s pretty decent, aura is especially powerful. Though it is annoying how your totem saps your health even when you’re just traveling with haul.

 

Very relatable. I just started a new HIC warrior today, since I didn't feel like grinding high level mobs or doing reworked quests today. I'm finding that crafting your own items leads to a very unique (and full of grinding) game experience that brings along a massive sense of accomplishment.
