Okay, first of all I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question since idk if it's a technical issue on my end or wynncraft's or whatever.

Hi! Ever since 2.0 came out I've been having issues with massive (and I mean MASSIVE) lag spikes. I've been playing a lot on my Shaman recently (Acolyte archetype) and I've been enjoying it since (finally) I can use absolution ;-;. Anyway, I noticed that every time I cast my totem and it sucks the living hell out of me, the blood trails most of the time makes my ping spike to 4k from 250-300 ping. (Sometimes it doesn't spike and it just retains my ping and oddly enough, that time would be the prime time of wynncraft which is around 1am-3am my time) The lag spike also sometimes feels like a gacha game, sometimes on random times of the day I get up to 350? ping and sometimes it just goes wild and pops off to around 14k :saltedhigh:. I also tried playing on my warrior and archer. Same issue but the spikes don't get that high and alsoooo I only feel the spikes when I'm traveling from point a to b. Like it goes to around 500 ping-ish tops. I already tried lowering the amount of particles my pc renders to minimal and also did /pq low but neither of them solved the issue.

Any recommendations? and before anyone types in "get a better isp" and "this is wynncraft, of course it'll lag"
    1) ISP wise, I'd honestly love to but I actually only feel the lag spikes in wynncraft. Well... I do use a game-vpn on my other mmos to keep the ping stable/lower than what it should be but it doesn't work for wynncraft.
    2) This only happened after 2.0 was released. I also get it that we have more players in the game right now but... it just doesn't make sense when the player base increases, SOMETIMES my ping stabilizes to it's usual ping.

Same thing has been happening to me. I have great 5G Wifi, a fairly new gaming laptop, and I never got any lag while playing any game...until I tried to play on my Shaman after 2.0 came out. Now I can't go 10 minutes without crashing, and periods of no noticeable lag happens in chunks of a maximum of 10 seconds. I can't even fight anything, 'cause it LITERALLY TAKES AT LEAST 3 TRIES TO INPUT A SINGLE SPELL TRIAD. For those reasons I have been playing any Wynncraft, and probably won't play again until this lag problem is fixed.
