Vanishing mana

    When I use Vanish on my assassin class it takes away 2 mana like it's supposed to, but then it drains my mana to 13 over 4 seconds then slowly fills back up again. I don't have any negative mana steal that could cause this. Is this an intended mechanic?

    It’s intended. The mythic “weathered” stops the mana draining.

    As soon as you attack (melee or spell), you will go out of vanish and start regenerating mana again. So you don't need to wait the entire time.

    The attack out of vanish also deals more damage.

    the whole point of the drain is the increased speed you get when vanished at a higher level and the fact that the normal cost is 2 whereas for other classes is about 4ish
