How to get more emeralds

Before the release of the 2.0 update, I asked myself: How to get emeralds relatively quickly and efficiently. I know about lootruns, but is there anything other than them?

 

Each The Canyon Colossus gives you around 40 EB and extra money if you sell the ingredients and horses you get, and don't keep runes and accessories from it that you don't plan on using.

It's probably the best method after lootrunning, maybe even better since it's much more consistent and not relying on a slim mythic chance.

Just in case you don't already: log in every day for your daily loot chest and daily rewards. It's quite a happy buck in the long run.

 

It's like 5 EB

 

I was expecting you and here you are....

 

Per day, but if you log in every day for two weeks, it adds up to 1 LE. It's reliable, easy, and doesn't bore you to tears. So like I said, if you don't already do it, it's good extra money. Not as a main source, but extra.

Seavale Reef. Go in with a Breathing Helmet (BH2 if you're high enough level) *in MC version 1.13 or later.* The ability to Swim makes it much faster.
Also make sure you have a higher tier Emerald Pouch, preferably one that converts up to LE.
Most of the videos out there on it are a bit outdated, but the general info is still relevant. (where it is, how to get there, who to sell to, etc.)
Most recent video I could find, they got 4 LE in 2 hours, so you can probably expect a range of about 1.5 to 2.5 LE/h.

Also quests. There are some that give multiple LE just for finishing them (although sometimes indirectly, like Master Piece
