Restarting for leveling tree experience or using max characters?

Curios to know the ratio of people restarting to get the true experience of a skill tree or will most people just use their highest level characters and get a bundle of points right away.

Personally I'm restarting for the better mmorpg experience of a tree :)

 

I think a lot of people who stick to endgame content (Raids, Wars, etc.) won't bother leveling up a new class since it'll probably be more difficult to level up compared to 1.20 Wynn. That being said, 2.0 does offer a vastly different experience and thus would provide a great opportunity for a fresh start. I think a mixture of both is what most people will likely do

 

How might it be more difficult to level up compared to 1.20?

 

Mob damage has/will increase and the defense/agility nerf will put a large dent in everyone's EHP. Sure, new spells are cool and useful, but there will some situations where certain Archetypes struggle due to their playstyle and abilities that are "necessary" or extremely useful for making the archetype work are usually located fairly far down the Ability Tree (for example: Acrobat's Weightless and Jasmine Bloom are probably two of the most important abilities that allow Acrobat to work [besides Lacerate, but you get that fairly early])

 

I don't have class slots for a new class, otherwise I might've considered it

I've not played my old Archer since the item rework way back when. Would like to get back into playing Archer again, as it used to be my main.

I'll likely keep my current Mage as something to swap to when I get bored, though.

 

I have build ideas for my higher level classes, but I'm also planning on starting a warrior from level 1. So... both.

Well it will definitely be harder than 1.20. A lot of spell upgrades are found on different nodes. You only get parts of an upgrade rather than the full thing unlike in 1.20. The new abilities should make this an acceptable trade off

 

I'm only level 66 so I'll have to do both
