SPOILER (Bit of a rant) Fully formed amadel really sucks as a boss

I eont know if anyone else felt this way, but there was a significant buildup for me as I was going through his forms
Corrupted amadel was rather easy, but considering he was the first phase that's ok.
Shadow amadel was actually a pretty good boss jn my opinion, and at times I actually had to use heal. He would actually be a legitimately challenging boss if his damage was buffed a little bit, all the clones bouncing you around does the rest of the work.
And then you get to fully formed amadel, and he's this giant wother monster in a massive cool-lookign arena with a massive health bar and 3 stages
And he slowly follows you
And tanks a lot
And lags you out with particles
And glitches out of the arena.
He would in my opinion be a more challenging and frankly more fun boss of some of his health was traded off for a different spell or more damage
As it is he's literally just a massive tank who disappears every 5 minutes.
The power of the universe and all he can do is get stuck outside of the arena.

I didn’t really have any difficulty with amadel at all, without really preparing either
Maybe that’s just me idk

 

I didn't 3ither, I could just walk around and cast heal like every 5 minutes and I'd be perfectly fine
He just kept getting stuck outside the wall for me

 

And Shaman is extremely OP in that fight. Totem allows you to see him even while he is invisible because of the damage particles.

 

Actually, since it's more of an AOE atrqcke, can it hit amadel when he's glitches outside of the walls of the arena?

 

Honestly I fully expect that the Wynnex questline is due for a rework sometime in the next few updates, along with the Bob questline and a lot of the older Wynn quests (*ahem* Lost Tower) because they’re really showing their age at this point. Like, the Amadel boss fight, at the time, was novel because it was the first real multi stage boss fight, but the tools we have now are so much better that Amadel just feels like a relic.
