Media 2.0 Assassin Review + POLL

Hello y'all, so im just gonna complain about 2.0 assassin, just because i complain doesnt mean there are no positives to this however,

In general assassin feels a lil bit nerfed

in my humble opinion i feel assassin got nerfed a bit too hard or buffed way too little

• Lacarete i feel it is an upgrade to the current spin attack doing 300% dps max upgraded but i dont really like how it flings u backwards tbh but i can deal with it

• my biggest complaint is the double spin attack, i think they got double spin to nerf the spamability of 1.20 spin spin attack, right now the damage is still 150% DPS which is pretty sucky compared to the other classes tbh but the double spin brings it up to 180% but u have to wait atleast 0.75 seconds to spam another one to get full dps, but theres also blazing powder witch adds 20% fire damage but spin attack, its no longer instant which might destroy spellspam builds like nirvana or cataclysm spin spam

• they also like removed base vanish but i can live with that
  
  
• tbh the backstab multihit is really trash, normal multihit is way better if u have stuff like stronger multihit and fatality
  
  
• My favourite archetype is acrobat, the best part is prolly the shurkens, hella cool doing 300% dps overall, alongside the increased mobility, hop/walljump and lacarete and the improved multihits and its OP for spellspam with parry and weightless
  
  
• My least favourite is shadestepper ofc that doesnt mean i hate it, its just that it doesnt have the same gimmick as acrobat, it relies on minions in a boss fight to consistently use vanish and the 'marked' effect to deal better damage and,
  
  
• Trickster is super goofy and i recommend it for people with a god complex, the clones are super goofy, great for cc and prolly deal the most damage with its clones in a fight, diversion is great for stuff like raids, lure is a great spell, in a pvp fight u can easily differentiate between u and ur clones cuz ur always the middle man

Vanish is the main reason assassin is so overpowered currently.

 

shadestepper is so weak its funny

 

but is trickster still recommended? because I'm so into that archetype honestly

 

Trickster is my fav but it needs some serious work (right now it's really only ideal for tank builds due to Sandbagging).
The clones have a 20 second cool down and you have a 20% chance to lose 1 clone every time you receive damage (but it will reduce the damage by 80% if a clone vanishes).
Sandbagging reduces all your ability cool downs by 2s (and it stacks) whenever you receive damage less than 5% of your max health. But because ehp is so bad rn it's really hard to actually get that to trigger...

 

Not sure which class is better for damage the shadestepper or acrobat. Cause i like acrobat spell spam but shadestepper has marked. Cause i only care about raids and boss fights and walking faster.

 

Shadestepper can currently one shot bosses with the right build. Acrobat cannot
