There is problem if I change my account name?

Okay, I was planning to maybe change my account name (of Minecraft), to another name, but I remember of someone here in this forums saying that a bug occurs, I think that the characters are deleted, something like that, just want to give out this question, as I don't want to lose my characters on Wynn.

 

They shouldn't be lost as your Minecraft account is still the same and only your name is changing.

 

your characters are fine but usually the update is not recognized immediately by the game, so you'd need to leave/rejoin guild to get proper username and such
(imagine using username rather than uuid for these stuffs)

 

Well, I am not in a guild, only thing that is affected is guilds?

 

Your friends list also breaks and your friends won't be able to see so you need to refriend them for the same reason that guilds are affected.
