respawn system is annoying

    I've recently started playing wyyncraft and am currently a lvl 32 shaman and one of my biggest issue so far is the respawn system, rn i'm doing the craftmas chaos quest (corrupted santa one) and I already died 3 time to corrupted santa, everytime i do i need to walk 1k blocks then climb a mountain, do the 10 min walk in the caves that I already explored, kill the same mini boss i already killed, then go in another cave to walk 5 min to get to the boss
    Basically it's just pain, why is there no checkpoints in quests to respawn

    Valid. Although, it's one of the older quests.

    I haven't played pre-endgame in so long that I can't comment on whether this is a shaman issue or a skill issue.

    do other quest have checkpoints?

    well I could technically just throw totems at him until he die but that's no fun so i need to mele, I feel pretty weak hp wise as a shaman so i try to keep my distances but his ranged attack kills me
