SPOILER The 2.0 Assassin Rundown: Everything you need to know

I'm sure you all know Assassin just released. So, this thread will contain the info you need to know about each archetype.

Shadestepper

Shadestepper uses Vanish as it's main spell, using it to massively increase damage. This is combo'd with the Marks system, as you damage an enemy, they gain Marks, increasing your damage. Eventually, with Satsujin and other modifiers, you can land one hit of unimaginable damage.

Trickster

Trickster uses Vanish similar to Shadestepper, but is more honed-in on Crowd Control and pulling shenanigans. After it vanishes, it spawns numerous clones, up to 6, that can copy your spells. Good way to increase your AoE damage, and confuse your PvE and PvP enemies.

Acrobat

Do you like flying? Do you like wall-jumping? Acrobat is for you! Comboing Dash with Main Attack allows you to throw Shurikens from afar. Don't forget to get in the air by using your Hop ability that lets you double jump, and Lacerate / Spin Attack for some extra vertical momentum, to proc Weightless for some practically free mana! Doing this enough will spawn a Jasmine Bloom that damages enemies beneath you.
Warning: This archetype seems really fast paced, not for the faint of heart.

do the clones copy ur skins also do the shurikens activate manasteal and thanks this is a great rundown

 

unsure, the atree isn't very clear w/ these things, but clones do copy your skin
and armor
and weapon
and spells
and everything

I definitely think I’m going Trickster/Acrobat. Looks like a very fun combo, they’ll never know where hit them!

 

Im gonna main acrobat, looks super fun. but shadestepper looks great too ill give both a try

 

acrobat seems really good with super fast builds, will work better with mr than ms
