Greed: Picking up emeralds heals you and nearby players for 15% max health
Does that mean that if I pick up emeralds, the nearby players and I will recover 15% of respectively max HP?
In that case,why do i drop an emerald and pick it up and I don't be recovered

 

As far as I know yes, greed heals 15% of player's hp and nearby players' hp respectively.
Emeralds dropped by players and pots don't work with greed

 

it works for all emeralds except for ones that you drop

 

As others said it does not work from emeralds you drop - you need the stealing identification to help you get more emerald drops out of mobs

 

i picked up the emeralds the mob had dropped,but still in vain

 

Were you wearing/using an item with greed and were you at full hp?

 

Easiest way to use it is to have stealing on a weapon or armor, then when you hit a mob an emerald may pop out based on stealing percentage. As Nick said, you can't be at full HP.

From my experience it doesn't heal you for every single emerald you pick up, it's every 3 or so

 

It does, but greed has a short cooldown

 

So, I can't trigger it by picking up an emerald dropped by a mob's death?

 

no, has to be dropped from stealing (so like, you hit a mob and it drops an emerald, that's the stealing emerald, can be picked up by anyone to regen hp i think?)

Greed works on both emeralds dropped from "stealing" id and emeralds dropped upon mob's death
