Returning player! What do I do?

Hey! I'm an old, old player. I first played wynncraft sometime back in 2014 or 2015. The wynncraft I remember had a level cap at 75, and I have vague memories of farming bob being all the rage.

Could anyone give me some recommendations on getting back into the game? What to do, where to go, what to look for?

 

Welcome back! Wynncraft has likely joined quite drastically since you last played, so I'd recommend starting an entirely new class. This will help you understand things like the new item system, what modern quests and dungeons are like, and more - plus you'll get to experience a lot of new content!

 

I suggest doing quests and exploring Gavel if you haven't. Gavel has a lot of new stuff and you can explore most of it from quests. Once you're a higher level you can explore all the higher level content there like raids and forgery. Besides Gavel there's also Corkus and The Silent Expanse which you can discover through quests.

 

Kinda an odd question of you ask me- I'd think once you make a new class it'd come naturally, and you do whatever comes next in your questbook and other discoveries and dungeons in between for the necessary XP. At least, that's how me and my sis play Wynncraft.
...On the flip side, maybe don't listen to me- I'm probably missing out on more than half of this server's content.

 

Well, I wasn't yet sure whether or not I wanted to make a new class. From this thread I gather that I should, but when posting this I had a general idea of resuming on my current character, which would kind of throw me in the deep end.

 

imo continuing your character should be fine and if you want to absorb the new early-game content you can always start a new class later.
