Announcement The 2.0: Spellbound HERO Beta is open!

Hello everyone!

The HERO beta for 2.0 is now out! If you have a HERO or CHAMPION rank and have read the changelog, you can login to beta.wynncraft.com to try it out!

Here's a few things to know about the beta:

• Things you do on there do not affect your characters on the live servers
• You're allowed to use bugs and even dupes as long as you're doing it with the intent to replicate and report them. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
• For beta only, you can shift-click your ability point icon to reset your Ability Tree
  
• Only Warrior and Archer will be playable to start with. Future classes will be added progressively during the beta.
• The character menu isn't finalized yet and is missing some stuff.
• Some quests may still have unfinished dialogues.
• Powder specials and major IDs won't work for now.
  
• Wynncraft mods will likely be broken on beta, please play in vanilla as much as possible.
  
• As usual, expect lag, bugs and crashes.
• If you encounter a bug, report it here!
• If you want to share some feedback, tell us here!

We will need help testing:

• Any sort of boss or PvP. It will give us analytic data as to how each archetype is doing at different level ranges.
• The new quests.
• The new raid.
• Guild wars.
  
• The new abilities.
• The tutorial (wouldn't be a real wynncraft update if we didn't change the tutorial)
  
• Any other content! Sometimes old untouched stuff breaks.

We expect the beta to last maybe a month or so. But of course, things could go wrong and delay the update. The game will likely not be perfectly balanced when the beta ends, as the goal is to get each archetype in a fun and usable state and not to perfectly balance them all. We'll keep updating abilities after release.

Patches will be posted here! You're allowed to record on the beta.
