I think this is a glitch?

I am doing quests but whenever I get to the boss stage after I kill it, it resets the entire battle. I don't really know what to do because I've killed the same boss 4 times until I finally die and it doesn't count under the quest. Is it something I am doing? Or lag?

Hi! First thing first, which quest are you doing? Is it WynnExcavation D?

If it's WynnEx D, Amadel has 4 phases (each time requires you to enter a new room to fight another variant of the boss)

If it's not, look at the boss nametag -- does it have mini squares? Those means the boss' phases. That means the boss will respawn in another phase.
