Media Clear Sky Lullaby - The End

With the announcement of 2.0's changelog also came the news that The Fortuneteller will be one of the quests that'll be removed. I found this to be disappointing as the sky area you go to after ascending the beanstalk is one of the more unique and relaxing locations in the game. As a bonus, it's also an area where you learn about an interesting tidbit of lore by talking to Farcor. However, I respect the decision, and I hope it can return some day in the form of a hidden unlockable area.

Additionally, with it also comes the end of one of my favorite pieces composed by @XavierEXE.

 

This can only be heard in the area and I enjoyed it a lot when I heard it even I have visited the sky area for 3 times already. I hope it can be returned some day with the quest.

 

Wait, if that quest is removed, then how will we access the Gavel library?

 

Pretty sure you can get 2le from this quest as well for anyone who hasn't done it on all their classes, as well as a couple other items

Who said that because the quest was gone Cloud Realm is gone?

 

They also said there will be a new secret discovery. Perhaps it will be about this?

 

I'm assuming, that, unless it is as Trapinch says, the Fortuneteller will probably be gone only temporarily. It'll be reworked, and then eventually re-added to the game in a future update, similar to what is happening with Hollow Serenity or A Fighting Species as seen in 2.0

 

Fortuneteller is not being removed, it is being replaced.

 

To follow what blankman said, yeah, I don't think Fortuneteller needs to come back if the Breaking Point exists. Some aspects just feel very out of place lore-wise, and the stuff there is too niche for them to warrant being in a quest.

But the Cloud area was definitely cool and very nice to explore if I got bored. Finding the camp there along with some ruins was honestly the best part of doing the fortuneteller. Maybe some parts could come back as easter eggs in the sky islands. (or use a wynntheory looor rework that works too :P)

 

oh, I didn't know that The Breaking Point was supposed to replace The Fortuneteller. The Breaking Point might (and probably will) include aspects from The Fortuneteller, then

 

The dragon that makes you feel bad for being a war criminal seems to be criminally underrated ;)

 

New secret discovery maybe? I would like that because then the library would be more consistent with the other libraries

The first time I did the Fortuneteller, I was such an idiot and though that the place you had to go for knowledge was the place for the discovery 'Llevigars Last Hope." UGH looking back THEY'D NEVER PUT A QUEST IN A DISCOVERY AREA!

So that's how I got stuck with two greedy LE. I still feel like an idiot.

Far Above the Clouds

In times before the Fracturing, stories told of a great wise beast who roamed the lands. As the Ahms region fell, so too did the dragon leave Gavel forever.

There will be a glowing orb right by the Red, Lime, & Cyan cave which gives bean sprouts, go to the same spot you planted the beanstalk in The Fortuneteller and then you climb it to get the discovery. Pretty much everything in there is the exact same except Farcor which has minorly different dialogue.

Also the Llevigar Library will become a secret discovery like this.
