Ava x Shots (The best youtuber)

It was a freezing cold night in Corkus city
The air felt like blades pressed against Ava's feathers as she landed in Corkus city to go into a bar. She was only going in there for warmth, because her new home was still some 500 blocks away. As soon as Ava into that bar, she began to feel eyes casting wretched looks upon her. Her feathers began to stand up and even though she was warm, she had never felt so cold. Ava went to a table in the corner, alone, and she felt the gazes begin to divert from her. She finally felt safe, but when she looked at the other seat, empty and unused, she began to wonder how much warmer her life would be, if only it could be illuminated by the flame of love.

She sat there for thirty minutes just thinking. The thought of love lifted her mood from the dread of the freezing night. She only wished she could share this warmth with someone.

Although she was happy, she began to feel thirsty, so she went to get a drink. When the bartender asked her what she would have, she began to stumble over her words. The gazes were returning. She decided that all she needed was water right now. Behind her, she heard someone say "bird-brained idiot", and the silence began to erupt into all forms of whispering discussion about the avia and whether they were fit to be in Corkus city. Ava remembered ordeal that happened only a short time ago. She barely managed to save these people from an all-out war, but still went completely unrecognized for it. The happiness she felt before was dim now. Hardly a spark was left of it. As if just for her sake, a wynn soldier's entrance diverted the attention of everyone in the establishment. Ava had not known this man, but everyone else seemed to. Without saying a word, the bartender gave him some water as he went to go sit in the corner. The corner. As the archer took a seat in the booth, he seemed not to notice the feather that sat in the seat across from him. As everyone began to resume their normal conversations, Ava began to walk over to the booth shyly to reclaim the feather she had shed while sitting there for so long. As she approached, the archer seemed not to take much notice, but he did take notice. She couldn't decide if she should ask him whether or not she was allowed to go and get it. She decided she should, and quietly asked: "U-um, could I just... take this? Th-thanks." The archer asked Ava "Why do you take your shed feathers back"
Ava responded: "I feel like nobody wants to see them anywhere, like they're garbage that need to be picked up"
Ava was scooting into the booth to pick it up now, as it was pressed against the very edge of the far side of the cushioned seat.
She took the feather and put it into a small leather satchel around her waist, which was full of interesting commodities she had found.
She was beginning to start scooting back out of the booth when the archer said:
"I don't mind seeing your feathers."
"R-really?"
"I think they're quite beautiful"
Ava began to blush, and the fire in her heart was heating up again.
She asked the archer his name.
"Everybody calls me Shots"
Ava let out a petite giggle at hearing that. She saw Shots also let out a slight smile.
"That's a great name", she said with another light laugh.
They went on and on about the weather, Ava slowly becoming more and more warmed by Shots' charm.
Eventually, a piano started playing a slow tune across the bar. They both ceased speaking as the piano music played. They began to look at each other, falling in love.
"Would you like me to walk you the rest of the way home?" Shots asked
"Sure!", Said an enthusiastic and flustered Ava.
As they walked out from the building, their hands began to reach out to each other. When they each held the other's hand, they both started to forget how cold the night was. As they continued walking, Ava stopped beneath a lamp on the street. Shots quickly turned to face her.
"This is where I first landed in Corkus. This exact spot. The machinery was unlike anything I'd ever seen."
"Everything was so peaceful back then."
Shots began to reply: "We can make it what way again."
Ava started to cry tears of joy. "Really?" she asked.
Shots nodded
They began to move close to each other until they were right under the lamp, at which point both of their eyes were glistening in it's light.
Their heads began to slowly move toward each other, and they kissed for a long time. The fire of love burned like an inferno in both of them now, and Shots mentioned that his house was nearby. They both slowly walked to his house, stopping to compliment each other and kiss again. Once they made it into the house, They decided that they were meant for each other. Neither of them expected such a cold night to be so hot. ;)
