cant connect to server

when i try joining wynncraft with the ip play dot wynncraft dot com (it wont let post links) i get the error message unknown host and on the server list it says cant resolve hostname. i have recource packs on and im on 1.12.2 anyone know why this is happening?

 

If play.wynncraft.com doesn't work, there is an alternate, it's not official but it does work for me when the IP doesn't...
to use it go to direct connect and use the same IP, but instead of .com, use .net.

If this doesn't work it might be a connection/system issue...

and use -Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true in Installations > Version that you want to use > more options > and put it in the JVM arguments box at the end, and make sure that there is a space between it and the last one.

Hey, I've been having this same issue all day as well. After looking into it a bit there was a similar situation that occurred a year or two ago involving the Wynncraft VPN. Is this the same issue? I don't think it's anything on my end.

 

been w8ing all day and its just back 4 me
