Guide Resource Dungeons Masterthread

For those who aren't aware, with the 1.18 Economy Update didn't just add professions, but it also reworked several new areas into ones that act as profession-grinding locations. These areas are called "Resource Dungeons". Some of these new areas offer 50% bonus exp with the "Inspiration" buff, while some are just safe places to find many materials.

The problem is, no one has these dang things written down anywhere, meaning I have to find them myself. Imagine having to find things yourself in 2022. There's a reason we started Gamefaqs.

So, I'm starting a list. Here are the ones we've found so far:

Inspiration:

• Karoc Mine Annex
  • Location: [-1666, 78, -4325] (At the south end of the North/South railroad track)
  • Resources: Gold, Iron, Silver, Cobalt
  • Quest Req: Rise of the Quartron
• Maex Resource Mine
  • Location: [1530, 61, -5340] in Maex
  • Resources: Diamond, Molten ore, Voidstone, Molten eel
  • Quest Req: Dwarves and Doguns part III

Non-Inspiration:

• Forgotten Burrows
  • Location: [-2045, 57, -5389] (South of "The Worm Holes" starting point)
  • Resources: Rye, Millet, Silver, Cobalt, Piranha
  • Quest Req: Realm of Light I: The Worm Holes

Aren’t these written on the wiki? If not, that’s very odd. Anyway those 3 are the only resource areas available in the game at the moment.

 

Still no idea why burrows isn't giving inspiration

Nope. The Karoc Mine Annex's only reference on the wiki is a haphazard mention on the Karoc Quarry page, and it doesn't even go into it in detail. There's also no collective page for this type of area.

 

The Resource Tunnels, or “Forgotten Burrows” have their own page on the wiki, and the Maex Resource Mine is on the page for Maex, and in better detail than the Karoc Mine’s mention.

 

I'm not sure I've ever seen Cobalt in there...

 

theres only three nodes of the ore in the place :/

but anyway, I’d really REALLY like to see more of these places added. It eases the pain of grinding SO MUCH.
