Lore/Story Ava X Nohno

I'm not sorry yet again.

Nohno, upset by the death of his wife (chickens only live 3-7 years), began going on the wynn Herald dating pages. Eventually, he found a mysterious stranger looking for "anyone, i'm not really sure how this works, Maxie made me sign up for this". He fit all these criteria! He wrote a response to the listed mailing adress, and waited for a reply. Eventually one came, and it was asking to meet at a bar in corkus. He gave his chickens some feed and quickly sailed over there.

Maxie had been pestering ava to try and find love. Maxie being married himself knew how important finding the right person could be. He was happy ava had gotten a response so quickly, even if he knew the odds of it working out were low. "What if... what if he doesn't like my beak" ava stammered. "He will love your beak, your beak is fine" Maxie kindly replied. "Now, put on some nice clothes and have a great time, I will hold down the fort while you are away. Ava picked her nicest dress and made her way to the bar, to find a villager waiting for her.

Nohno was stunned. Was this a bird person? Do bird people even exist? Was this a cruel prank of some kind? "Uh are you uh..." no he couldn't say that, it would be rude. "Are you my date" he quickly corrected himself. "I... I... might be are you my date" ava shyly replied. "I think I am, are you ava" Nohno asked. "Yes, that's me," ava said. "Would you like some uh" what do bird people even drink, he asked himself "some uh, fine nemract whisky" he hoped this wouldn't offend her. "That sounds lovely," ava said. She thought to herself that villagers were all greedy, but this fellow seemed to be nice enough.

Several drinks and some stories later, they were really hitting it off. "Would you like to dance?" Nohno said, as a romantic song came on. "I don't know how to dance" ava nervously said. "Well come, I'll show you," Nohno said boldly. Nohno wasn't a good dancer, but for some reason, tonight of all nights, he was doing very well. All the other couples stared in jealousy at this villager and his date, as they moved to the rhythm of the song. As the songs came and went and the night flew by, eventually the bar came to closing time. "Would you like to come rest at my house?" ava said. Noho simply smiled and said "No, how about we go star gaze instead, for some reason looking out at the stars reminds me of something, but I can't quite say what".

And so they did... Who's to say what came next.
