SPOILER Spellbound is actually the Morbius Update

With the 2.0 trailer comes a lot of hype, many speculations even, but to me, it is obvious that the spellbound is actually the Morbius update in disguise.

First, let's take a look at what's morbvious, the vines on the new logo for spellbound are actually identical to Morbius himself.



If that's not enough to convince you, take a look at the trailer, at around 1:27 we can see the assassin wall jumping, this is in fact, one of Morbius's signature ability, hinting that we will be able to to morb in some of Morbius's powers, and even play as Morbius ourselves, with the new Morbh set. In fact, I believe that the rest of the updates like the status effect system, the updated mana system, are made so that they can put Morbius into the game.


At 0:44 of the trailer, we can also see the player hiding from someone, this is in fact, a reference to the scene in Morbius the movie, where Morbius hides from a person.
As for proof, there is actually a small line of text hidden during the scene, when enlarged, the text reads "Find a place to hide!", showing that the player is indeed, finding a place to hide. There is also a small bat symbol above the text, tightening the connection to Morbius.


The final concrete proof of this being the Morbius update lies in the final moments of the trailer, where we see a 'mysterious' monster performing a jumpscare, this is of course, another reference to Morbius the movie. Upon closer inspection on the image on the website, and a bit of analyzing, we can tell that the new raid boss is clearly, Morbius himself. My theory is that the player would do a series of quest, similar to the Realm of Light questline, but instead we relive the memories of Morbius, then finally fight the real Morbius to obtain his powers, and unlock Morbius mode, as of how Morbius got there, that's up for the community to find out.

Epic Gamer theory: You are Morbius.

Alright so let me explain. The player is definitely one of the players of all time. So, only dark things can attack dark things since item lore is the most canon of all canon in wynn, and in anya's bracelt, it pretty much says, "Opposites exist. And the light and dark engage in a petty squabble over who gets the last Cheez-It." SO this confirms that the war of the realms is started over a silly thing. HOWEVER, look at ANya's penunmbra. It is the Fabled rarity. Right? Now who is Morbius? Morbius is definitely one of the characters of all time, which in some dialects means "antihero". THis sounds irrelevant but trust me. What is an alias of Morbius? The Living Vampire. What do vampires drink? blood. What species do vampires drink blood from? humans. What color is human blood? Red. What color is the fabled rarity? Red. Already there is an obvious reference to Morbius currently in the game. So MOrbius is anya's penumbra. "but hold on homeboi, what about the player?" Great question. You sometimes earn XP from killing humans. Some humans have this thing called Anemia. An meaning a replacement for a or without, and Emia meaning Presence in Blood. Low Presence in Blood. Vampires need cloaks right? What class also has a cloak? Assassins. And XP is pretty much your blood. It courses through your body fueling your everyday activities, and among these is wearing clothes. No you do not need to do naked EO, but XP can translate into levels, and levels let you wear various clothes. And what can be a source of human blood? The very humans in the Wynn province, especially in Rymek. THis definitely means that you are the player of players.
