Mage/Dark Wizard Which is the Best Mage Build (spell focused)?

Hey,

could someone help me with the best mage build possible (mythics are allowed), I love to spam spells, almost never use the left click, so this might be the only limitation. I was thinking of high damage meteors, low cost spells and high mana regen (if some walk speed it is a bonus…)

Currently you can get the highest meteor dmg using Fatal. But Fatal builds usually leans more to spellsteal.

If you’re able to spam very fast, you can try to use Pure. Although the meteor dmg is low compare to Fatal, but it’s major ID allows meteor to fall almost instantly, which is fun to use.

 

Obligatory “there is no best build”
This is my submission for the best possible mage build. Damage looks low but it’s actually very high due to meteor recasts and courage (24k damage per meteor cast assuming perfect cycles and courage uptime, but in reality it’ll be a bit lower due to meteor cancels and melee misses. But you’ll be able to have higher damage uptime due to increased tankiness). This build is also effectively immortal (I know heal cost is high, but you won’t need to heal often due to lifesteal and tankiness, plus trift recasts help heal uptime). Also, the no melee restriction will really really hurt your dps on most builds due to not letting you use curse or courage.

I’m also gonna include a spell spam build to appease your request, but if you’re not willing to melee use the build from the guy above me. My builds will let you be unkillable though (and if you use trift you’ll have competitive dps or even higher due to melee recasts and courage uptime vastly increasing damage output)

if u want the highest dmg possible just use a crafted wand. Slap on some generic spell dmg% armor and u r good to go.
