What's Your Favorite OST's?

in order:
catalyst for a fractured psyche: there’s like 20 different leitmotif references in this song it’s crazy. also the last 30-40 seconds are so good

at its breaking point: we’re grooving and the stone is grooving as well

where they wandered: hearing it for the first time was surreal, especially after waiting 5 years for rtd lol. fits the area perfectly.

earthquake!!!: groovy worm song, perfect tempo and pace, very pokemon like.

end of the road: perfect.

the light fades: im surprised not as many people like this one. it’s extremely melancholic and the melody is very depressing - in a good way

 

I know someone who doesn't like the OST (yes, shocking indeed) and the Selchar theme is literally the only one they've ever appreciated.
But- speaking for myself- it's a nice fitting song, and though I would never put it down as the worst, it certainly isn't on my favorites.

triumphant citadel (detlas) makes my stomach churn with nostalgia, muddy outlook (nemract) is a nostalgic jam, adventure is so fucking good (and also nostalgia)
light forest is easygoing and makes me hum along, the forest dies is officially the Early Realm of Light Background Music and reminds me of headless history (one of my fave quests), where they wandered (ruined olmic city) has such a good atmosphere with that dope delay effect, everpresence (EO) is something i never actually pay attention to while doing EO but it's a nice one to listen to, Play the Saviour got the groove, Gavel Journey is super good

and at the #1 spot of all time, WE GOT THE MOTHAFUCKIN SEASKIPPER THEME AYOOOOOOOO

 

I KNOW I absolutely love that song and honestly sounds like Dullahan's theme song to me. Easily my number one RoL quest :)

 

hell yes! i've seen people complain that its a long laggy lore dump but i think its amazing, the cutscenes are just chefs kiss

 

I havent listened to every Song yet, but from the ones i know I particulary like "Icy Steps (Frozen Forest)" and the one playing in Tempo Town, unfortunaly i coudlnt find it just now so Tempo Town is just the Version in my Memory

Gotta say No Place to Hide is super underrated tho

 

YES I agree- the Lexdale theme is beautifully fitting and sounds very layered, and layered is -in my opinion- one of the best things a song can be. And I'll never be able to put in words how perfect it was in Lexdale Witch Trials for the high speed chase through utter decay and gloom- it sets a more than perfect chaotic vibe.
