Hi. It's been a while.
To put it simply, I just don't play wynn anymore. I've been slowly drifting away from the game for a while now, coming back for festivals and events and stuff, but I think I'm done. This isn't because I don't like the game or anything close to that, in fact it still holds a very special place in my heart, it's just... times change, y'know? I've been here for a really long time; I can remember back when Gavel was only a door, when the ocean was virtually barren, when you could go to the nether and pvp. Now things are different, and have been for a while. It's not a bad different. but the game has certainly evolved. And I've evolved too. Aside from playing genshin when I have the time, I don't really play a lot of video games anymore. I'm busy with school, with work, with my future. So I think it's time for me to finally formally close this chapter of my life.

And there's so much I never did! I never maxed out a character. I never managed to beat every raid or every dungeon. I never maxed out every profession (although I did get close on like half of them). I haven't 100% completed any part of this game. But that's okay. And I'm okay with that. Because I had so much fun every step of the way. It's not the destination, it's the journey.
I took part in some awesome events, met some awesome people, even got to write some dialogue for the game! Five years of good experiences and memories.

I'm not deleting this account, but I don't think I'll be really looking at it again soon. I do have some art that I'm tempted to share, so maybe I'll do that sometime. Other than that, I'll be pretty much gone. And maybe, a few years down the road, I'll remember the game that shaped my teenage years and boot it up again.

So, I bid you all adieu. Thank you all for being a part of this adventure.
