Is crafting worth it?

I've been playing this game for about 4-5 days and I'm level 33 assassin. I have a lot of ingredients but never used any of them. My character is strong enough for me and I'm curious if self-made weapons/armor are worth it. Thanks!

 

Crafted gear isn't usually worth it until end game

 

Not on a first playthrough as it's meant as a side activity. If you want to do every quest you will need level 20 in all gathering professions though

 

Never do professions on your first playthrough
Although crafted gear can be insanely powerful in endgame, doing professions is super time consuming and you can just buy crafted gear through trade market anyways as the only requirements are combat level and whatever SP req the crafted gear has

Lvl 20 gathering profs arent honestly that bad to get, real grind starts later and you can use materials you get tp buy housing blocks so if you have time then it might be worth it to get those lvl 20 gathering profs
Also, you can always do them after you finish all quests and stuff, 2nd playthrough isnt required and it would save you quite some time

 

Good point, I’ll try making profesions after finishing the game

 

Youll need to level them for like 3 quests, so maybe level them up every so often
