how to get rid of quest items

i have multiple of the same quest items because i did /fixquests. when i did that it helped but i cant get rid of the other spare items

 

put your quest items into a new class and delete that class

alternatively, you can grab a stack of emeralds or something, and fill every spare slot in your inventory. Right click the remaining stack to pick up some emeralds and leave the rest there, then replace a quest item with the half stack of emeralds. throw the quest item out, it will get instantly deleted. repeat for all quest items in your inventory.
