I know that I sound insane, I probably am but I need to share the truth with you.

I was blind

I was blind that I couldnt see the most obvious thing ever, it was right in front of me
Lets go back to few days ago, I went to the weird island with boat merchant cause I needed one for FUB anime opening
I decided to climb to the top of the island and I found THIS:

Yahya's mushroom tree from Festival of the Blizzard!
Now, we know that Yahya is a drug addict, that Relend delivers him mushrooms from Light Forest and that they have to use Gateway's island to do this. I was hoping that 1.20 will change this, that it will stop their nasty organisation.
I was wrong, so wrong!
You see, everything seemed alright up until the Festival, thats when the proof Gateway Island is no longer needed came out.

They can deliver mushrooms using saplings!

When I realised that, I went to my office to connect all clues

Now you know part of the story
In one of my researches I said that profs are weird, I though that floating fruit was just a funny thing.
But think about it:
Saplings give mushroom trees...
They grow...
Proffers cut them...
Fruits remain...

These arent fruits, these are mushrooms, ready to be devoured by drug addicts.
And honestly Im scared that its already too late to stop it.

You see, we need to realise that the infamous Relend's drig cartel is part of something bigger, Wynnfia

As stated in one of my reports (the same one with floating "fruits") there is a powerful mafia called Wynnfia and its leader is Orphion
It all makes sense, Orphion is the beast of Light and mushrooms come from Light Forest. They are later transported across Gavel and Wynn by people like Shifty Merchant, Lucio and Lari...
...and gerts, of course
You ever realised that tons of the "good" NPCs die? Its to lower the power of Orphion's mafia!
And that leads us to another point: Dern is good
And as we know Corruption serves Dern (I mean, it kinda does). We are literally fighting the good guys!

I know, it sounds weird and implausible but there is evidence its right.
As we all know Betweenlands is a sequel to Wynncraft, in a reality in which player doesnt stop the dernic parasite, therefore dooming entire Gavel and Wynn.
But look at BL world again, its not strictly evil. Sure, for humans like us it mostly is but that doesnt mean there is no good in there.

Betweenlands is full of good stuff such as chiromaws, emberlings, harlequin toads...
Dark doesnt mean evil, thats where we all were wrong!

So yes, we are fighting for the wrong side, literally the only time Player is good is during AHC, you might think that we commit serious crimes during this quest but in reality we simply become monsters for the greater good.

That leads us to the final part: What can we do?

Answer:

...nothing, really

We failed, we failed our families, our friends and all those random people from all those random towns
We cant save the world
But we can recreate it
We need to start the Rumbling

Only Berbus, the god of Berbs can save us now, only he can fix the mess Orphion, his followers and us made!

 

OK but what about all those animals and people who got mutated or doomed to a slow, agonizing death by the corruption, as well as the many people brainwashed, driven to insanity. Do you advocate for the many war crimes of the corruption?

 

Thats an interesting point, however war must continue, even death is better than living under the rule of someone as bad as Orphion

 

Is Orphion so bad that its worth stomping the entire world to death just to stop him? What hath he done that condones such a hefty measure.

 

Yes he is, he literally enslaved whole world using drugs

 

The only instance of a mushroom addict we really see in game are very sparse, those being those elves in Eltom and Yahya himself. Not only that, the corruption enslaves people AND drives them insane, which is a far worse fate than just being drugged. Not only that, your plan will kill nearly all life on Earth, giving them basically zero chance to "redeem" themselves from Orphion's drugs. Is this cause you're fighting for really righteous?

 

Do you really believe there are the only shows cases? Because my studies show that everyone is addicted to mushrooms already, they dont even know what real life is. And as I explained in the post Corruption is not a force of destuction but creation, people affected by it are finally free to use their own mind! And they chose to fight for the reinventing of the world!
See? It’s the only way

 

Wait, so everybody in the world is affected by mushrooms, EVERYBODY from Corkus to Gavel?? Also, how come Wynn was fighting the Corruption before Gavel even arrived? Are you saying Orphion somehow transported the shrooms telepathically or something? This post must have been written by one of the corrupted! Also, why do corrupted people like to destroy things so much if it is a force of creation? They are reinventing the world by burning it down into a hellhole.

you sure you haven't eaten some of those mushrooms yourself buddy?

 

Yes, every single person in Wynn, Gavel and Corkus is addicted (Fruma doesnt count, rumbling would leave Fruma alone). As I said before, Orphion and his peons used Gateway island before villagers arrived to Wynn. I shouldnt have said that Corruption is a force of creation, it’s more of a force of rebuilding, it molds world into something better. To you this may look like a hellhole, but it doesnt for other races, if you arent addicted to shrooms go to Fruma, there is a reason why it’s being saved.

As I said, I know this sounds weird but to me it’s real, it’s part of Expanded Wynncraft Lore

Or maybe you two are just Orphion’s peons trying to stop me from telling the truth?

 

Interestingly I think this sapling does actually have some kind of meaning considering it's the only sapling on the island and is at the very top. Either that or it's just a weird choice made by a builder. Probably the latter

So you're just saying that Orphion somehow drugged the rest of the world without anyone noticing, and just saying anyone who disagrees is just drugged? Dude you sound like a conspiracy nut, and not only that, you're working for the corruption as well... also how are the areas infected by the corruption better in any sense of the word? Spikes go everywhere as people suffer or go insane. You call everyone else Orphion's peons, but how do we know you are not a peon of Bakal?
