Announcement Feb. 2022 - News From The Content Team

Hello, everyone!
It's been around a month since our last teaser thread, which means it's finally time for our February thread!

The next update is coming along quite well, and we're currently moving full speed ahead to bring it closer to it's eventual (yet unknown) release date. Though not quite as content-heavy as 1.20, this update is shaping up to be chock full of new, unique content that will feature mechanics and gameplay elements that haven't been seen at all before, even in some of the minor bits!

Speaking of content, here's some teasers of what's to come!

--Qira Hive Boss Spells--
​

As stated before by the cow man, the CT recently received some new and improved tools that let us make content that would have once been extremely complex with relative ease. With said tools, @Lex! and @Selvut283 went ahead and added a number of custom spells to the bosses of the Qira Hive quest. Needless to say, the quality of all of the bosses have increased tenfold thanks to these additions. Here's a quick demonstration of a new spell that the Genesis-Revorse boss has been given in the video below!

--Quest Content--

As per usual, the next update is going to be bringing along some quests, both new and reworked. Some of these quests will contain dangerous new enemies that are unlike anything you've seen before in the game.

Below is a snippet of a moment from a “new” quest called Hollow Serenity. This will replace the now deleted ‘Hollow Sirene’ quest— albeit arriving an update late.

But bosses aren’t the only thing being featured in these new quests. There will be some… other challenges present. You’re better off running away in these rather than trying to fight.

—Nesaak Remake—

@Tonarn in his mission to add a sauna somewhere in Wynn… went ahead and gave everyone’s favorite snow-filled town a complete makeover! This new remake of Nesaak includes updated builds and terrain, improved level design, as well as a public sauna to relax in at any time; complete with fresh towels!
