Hi, it's me again.

I want to discuss what a friend of mine noticed.
He was watching old videos made by a youtuber named Shots, when he noticed something in one of his later videos.

If you go there, and skip to 37:59, near the right you will see a portal for Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard.
However, what's strange is that this doesn't exist in the current Wynncraft version.

Interestingly enough, if you go ingame, you see almost the exact same thing, just without the hologram.

If I remember correctly, the sign for Corrupted GG used to exist, but the portal didn't take you anywhere. The devs probably removed it to prevent confusion.

 

its been there for a good few years, i remember a sign there or something too

i dont remember how many years, though i remember seeing it kinda vaguely when i first came to gavel and got to forgery

 

There' always been a portal to CGG, but it never actually takes you anywhere because until 1.21, there has been no CGG. Kinda crazy that there's been the hint that it'll be added for about 6 years though xD

 

As stated above, the gateway used to say "Corrupted Galleons Graveyard" as it was a planned dungeon, the same applied to CUR before it was added. They removed the sign in 1.20 with the forgery rework to prevent confusion. The sign will be back in 1.21 with the actual addition of CGG

They also had a gateway for the Corrupted Fallen Factory but it never had a sign on it, and considering it's still there in 1.20 AND has been specifically remade, CFF seems like another planned dungeon

 

Sorry to say this, but CCG isn't confirmed for next update. Not saying it isn't happening.

 

They showed that they're updating the regular galleons graveyard, which doesn't prove anything but makes it very likely

 

Damn I was really excited for Corrupted Calleon's Graveyard

 

the hologram was there, and was removed in 1.20 with the forgery rework, probably to prevent confusion, although since we are getting a full GG rework next update, WE MIGHT get CGG, and also it was never confirmed but the other portal is supposed to be CFF, although it is kinda obvious because of the blocks they used and because FF is the next normal dungeon after GG, i got a theory of why they didnt release both of them already, and its probably because CGG would be like lvl 100, and CFF is like lvl 110 which doesnt exist yet, maybe when we'll get dern :/

Except that in the same update where UR was updated, CUR was added.

 

Not saying it won't happen, but that still doesn't really mean anything.

 

cgg is level 98 and cff will be 102, ceo will be 106, and we can't add any more dungeons following this pattern because the corrupted dungeon's level will be lower than the actual dungeon's level

 

Eldritch Outlook will not receive a corruption version.

Okay. It might. I can't say it won't with certainty, but it would make zero sense. Logically, it will not happen.

If Corruption can overtake Darkness, then it's at least technically possible. Question is, what would the boss be? A "revived" Eye, or something else?

 

bak'al is like corruption's essence or smth and hes the servant of darkness
so it wouldnt make sense for him to either betray and defeat his master or have the corruption defeat darkness

but yeah ceo makes my brain hurt in terms of loer

 

Bak'al isn't the essence/Beast/whatever of the Corruption. He doesn't control it (Corruption is just formed when Light and Dark clash), he just has control over the undead armies (and I guess he can create portals between Realms).

I mean the lore of Corrupted Dungeons is pretty irrelevant since there's barely any. All we have to go on is that the Forgery was created by a tear in reality, so the Corrupted Dungeons are merely just alternate realities where Corruption has fully taken over, similar to the Nether.

I imagine it wouldn't look any different to the styles of other Corrupted Dungeons. Light can corrupt Dark just as Dark can corrupt Light.
