Hytale vs Wynncraft

Do you guys think Hytale will be better than Wynncraft? Use the poll if you have an answer and/or comment your thoughts on the matter

 

It's really weird how they released original the trailer THREE YEARS AGO and it's still not out. Theres even a statement from them, "We no longer expect to be ready to launch Hytale before 2023 at the earliest, and it could very well take longer." I really don't know how they're going to keep a fanbase especially since they released a trailer two weeks ago, but the game isn't going to be out for another 2 years.

If Hytale ends up being exactly what it was in the original trailer, then it’ll far surpass Wynn, and I mean it.

but as it stands we have no clue what the game will be actually like. Given how many big games have turned out to not be as good as we originally thought, I’m looking towards the immensely ambitious hytale with uncertainty.

 

The reason that hytale is taking so long is that it’s a game on par or even farther than what Minecraft has to offer, and games like that take a lot of time to make. Minecraft had a lot of updates that were relatively small, and most of those were before 1.10 such as: the spooky scary update, the horse update, (not to mention all of the secret updates) and many more which took the corse of year
s as they added up.

 

I mean. this is about as biased a place to ask peoples opinions on wynncraft compared to unreleased games from hypixel as you could get.

The reason Hytale is taking longer cuz theyre not just making a huge game, they're also making model makers and modding tools. Not to mention they have to also make Hypixel too.

Though you can't realllyyy compare hytale to Wynncraft. Hytales more sandbox than Wynn, and if you mean RPG servers on Hytale, then Hytale wins.

So far theyve shown some of the editor tools and it looks MUCH more user friendly than Minecraft. I plan to release an RPG on Hytale myself, so I'm a bit biased.

I absolutely love wynncraft but I do believe that Hytale (if they release the game they promise to be) will definately be superior.
It only makes sense, Wynncraft as great as it is, is only a branch off minecraft, Hytale will be its own engine, model making and modding tools.
However, most games that promise big things more than always turn out to be uhh, not so great *turns and looks at cyberpunk77*

Wynncraft will be the best because it did what no other server could do. Immersive story, highly customized plugins and incredible models. Wynncraft is the pioneer of minecraft mmorpgs.

 

I think Wynncraft is going to be better but I am still eager to try Hytale when it comes out.

 

Honestly, I don't understand any of the hype around Hytale. It looks really big in scope and is a studio's first game, a match made in game development hell. Frankly, I half except the project to be canceled or delayed indefinitely.

Most of the hype isn't mainly the game. It's the modding tools. Minecraft mod tools are usually 3rd party. For example, to make a mod for Minecraft, you download forge, download Eclipse, download Forge Modding kit then you have to enter specific code into specific parts, then you learn Java then you can make your mod. One of the most popular things Minecraft is known for, can't even be done in the game itself.

Hytale has already shown a couple of tools they have and its already easier and more customizable then MC. The 3 seconds of revealed footage is more beginner friendly then Minecraft. You can customize the models in the game itself. You could even replicate Hollow Knight in Hytale. They already showed that camera angles can be changed.

But most importantly......

THEY HAVE ROPES OMG YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW USEFUL IT WOULD BE FOR BUILDING

 

yes IF hytale does actually made as it says.
but that will done after "The 3-5 business day(tm)"(or with Half life 3), so that will be vaporware.

 

I think Hytale will be too ambitious like Security Breach. Also, is Hytale going to be its own separate game? Or in Minecraft?
