What's your favorite City?

Howdy!! It's your friendly neighborhood Pear :D​

To begin, I want to say that this thread is just kind of a fun little thing. My friend and I were talking and playing Wynn as we usually do, and we began to talk about favorite cities in Wynn- mainly because her housing was above Troms, and mine was above Corkus.

Turns out there can be more than one favorite city, since there are three provinces AND a whole ocean!!

So if you want to add your two cents, tell me what your favorite city/place in each of these areas are-

Wynn, I mean obviously

The Ocean/Islands, not including Corkus!

Gavel, If you haven't gotten this far that's fine!! Just tell me your favorite biome instead, or skip this!

Corkus, I suppose this one has very few places to choose, but still it's a pretty big island!

Remember- this is all just for fun, but I do think that someday I want to take some of the most popular places and turn them into character concepts! Alright, that's all, have a nice day! Don't forget to vote on your favorite province too :)

Wynn: Troms, I really like the grand and powerful feeling of this city
Ocean: Selchar, it gives that pleasant feeling of being a little safe space within the ocean
Gavel: Cinfras, to be honest I mostly like Cinfras because of the airbase and not the city itself but just like Selchar and Troms, it gives that safe and grand feeling especially after making it out of the Gavel forests
Corkus: Corkus City, I just don't think the Avos village and Relos have too much to offer compared to Corkus City

 

Yess!! Almuj's lore is super cool though- and I wish there was more to Mage Island too! Light Forest imo is way more beautiful than Light Realm too XD
And Avos Region!! I love my birdie pals :D

I can definitely see why you chose those, Troms is like a temple, reminds me of ancient civilizations but more modernized! Selchar is definitely a happy place, my favorite thing about it is that once you've done A Misadventure on the Sea and Order of the Grook you essentially can travel from any island to one of the main five ports for free- Selchar's boat costs 0 emeralds, then you can use the sea nexus to travel to either Nemract, Llevigar, Mage Island, or Pirate Island and from the main three you can really go anywhere and it costs way less! Cinfras's walls do feel very cozy, the colors (now more than ever, since they changed from stone brick to brick) make it feel like somewhere you'd want to live in, really. Corkus has a very similar feel as it's also made of brick, but Cinfras's grey-er accents make it feel more home-y, though I do see where you're coming from with Corkus having more to offer! It's sort of like Cinfras versus Efilim, right?

 

Wynn: Ravine Village (the music is a bop and that is the only reasoning I need (also early game nostalgia))

Ocean: Pirate Cove simply for the pirate vibes.
Zhight Island is also unironically quite nice and well-built, but it isn’t really a town nor do I visit it often. Same with Mage Island. (Does Grookwarts count?)

Gavel: Gelibord has a special place in my heart, and it always has. It’s kinda like Lexdale but better.

Corkus: I wonder what I could choose?
The bird-infested hard-to-reach and annoying-to-navigate mountain range filled with neutral mobs that attack me at the slightest use of a movement spell, the empty ghost town that serves -1 purpose and is so forgettable you don’t even realise it exists, or the one city that has actual use, quest involvement, and that I visit on a regular basis.
Legendary Island, of course!

 

Wynn: Olmic City; nothing like seeing eldritch abominations with 400k hp to make my day
Ocean: Mage Island (does that count?) where archer island tho
Gavel: Eltom; haha funny villager hybrid wants to sell off town for le nuff said
Corkus: Avos city because uth shrine

 

Wynn: Lusco ; The snow makes it clean and it's in one of the more remote locations which I like
Ocean: Mage Island ; free travel. Idk i dont really like ocean
Gavel: Ahmsord; Cool vibe, has cool architecture, all amenities, and is a high level area.
Corkus: CC; most useful place in Corkus

HOW CAN I CHOOOOSE (my highest class is only lvl 82 so-)

Wynn: Rymek is a really fun city and I love the vibes. Troms is so grand and wonderful I also love it there. And of course Detlas is iconic.
Ocean: Selchar my beloved (tho mage island is also pretty great)
Gavel: I adore Cinfras (especially the airbase) so much. Geliboard is a really cute town as well, really idyllic if you ignore the monsters. My favourite Gavel area is the Light Forest though, something about the music there is so nostalgic but also full of possibilities.
Corkus: Corkus City I guess, I haven't explored much of the island yet. I've been looking forward to Corkus for so long and the main city does not disappoint.

Gavel: Olux cuz idk i like the whole swamp/decay theme of it
Corkus: i have only been there once but the main city looks nice

Wynn: Troms for its grandeur and presence of power in the province (and I like the lush jungle biome). When I was in ShadowFall I spent a lot of time warring there. That or Emerald Trail: it's boring answer but you can tell the CT have paid a lot of attention to making this first area of exploration an appealing place.

Gavel: hard to choose because it's jam packed with biomes and smaller areas. I love new Cinfras/Letvus air base. The Thanos glow up is super nice too.

Spitting straight fax. The Zhight island architecture and landscaping is really satisfying and nice to look it. I think as the player is a nomad travelling from town to town on his quests it'd be cool to be able to stay at a hotel even though housing plots exist. Same for Grookwarts - and the quest is one of my favourites.

Corkus: I have over 600 Legendary Island runs :>

Silent Expanse: Panic Zealot boss alter because I'm a masochist ^^

 

I rly like corkus city cinfras

And cinfras beacause it also looks good and you can travel extremly easy

I often only need detlas scrolls to get like to rodoroc beacause of the fast travels lmfao

 

I like Confras and Rodoroc. Because they are big and cool!
