    He just has very likeable dialogue throughout fast traveling with him and he doesn't act like a complete idiot unlike some other main quest characters (Lari, Axelus, Aledar).

    Why isnt gale there, I liked everyone else before but this event dialogue rn really just makes gale the best character imo. Theres just so much personality and story. I like her. Anyway if it obvious I like gale the most.
