Give me a list of cool hats

Hello reader,

Spoiler: For reasons beyond your mortal understanding

I got inspired to create a boardgame which is basically an autobattler using hats as units.
(Working title: Auto hattler)

where players put on a stack of hats, and they "battle" to topple hats of the other players' head. Different effects occur depending on which hat is on top, and which hats are below it. Last hatted head wins.

I would like to learn about different kinds of hats.

Could you be so kind as to tell me about different kinds of headgear which could reasonably be considered a hat. (a cap and alike counts as a hat here.) Perhaps some cool hats which are from where you live, or something weird you saw in an animation at some point.

A name, or even picture and optional description would be of great help.

Made some example cards for autohattler.


They could than be stacked on top of eachother like this, the top hat would have 6 HP and 2 DMG, once it falls the cork hat would get revealed and be a normal cork hat with 1 less DMG.

 

this board game sounds fun! (how) are we going to be able to play it?

If I ever get to the point where it is complete enough to play, I'll probably post a thread in the your work section similair to what I did with Wynncraft the Gathering (a magic the gathering set for wynncraft). Where I give a PDF of the cards, and the rules (Didn't do that for WTG because it uses MTGs base rules) and people can print the cards and rules (and other things) themselves. If it gets that far I'll probably have made it in tabletop simulator (a steam "game") as well.

While not technically a hat, you could make a fascinator unit. A fascinator is a fancy headpiece that has a bunch of decoration and is smaller than a regular hat. It doesn't really have a use apart from looking pretty though

 

Hats you say?

If you count helmets in that category, then how about the pickelhaube. Might be good to include a military helmet often associated with the Prussians/Imperial Germans(not the 3rd Wreck/Nazty Germany).

Just as a bonus, you could also include the helmet of King Henry VIII(yes, the head chopping King of England). Could have a certain scare or intimidation factor to it due to its... interesting appearance. If you do not want nightmares for tonight, I advise not looking at this helmet.
