Mage/Dark Wizard Monster vs Lament? (and a good Lament build)

I'm thinking that the current use for Monster for me is raids and solo wars, and Lament can also good for healing and have more uses. So I'm thinking of selling my Monster and buy Lament. I would like compare Monster and Lament in terms of dmg and the uses in raids. Also I want a good Lament build if I decided to switch to Lament. Thanks!

 

I havent used Monster at all but I can give you my two best Lament builds.

This is my trift version and I am fairly certain it doesnt get much better than this without crafteds. You can also allocate the leftover sp to strength for even better damage. This build is rather roll dependant tho. You need a good stardew good lament and a good trift.

I suggest using 2 Mythic weapon tomes on both of these for even better damage.

Everything above ~30k def EHP on Lament is kinda wasted because of the incredible heals keeping you alive no matter what.

 

these builds look really good! Might move on to use Lament (Although I still want a comparison with Monster) Btw what stats is important for Lament and Stardew? (I already have a godly Trift)

Probably the biggest comparison between these two weapons is that in general monster gets more tank, and lament more dmg, you can build them with mr, but lament leans more to ms. Also, healing wise they are simmilar: you will need less heal with monster becouse you will take less dmg, and more cheap heals with less tank lament

 

Im selling my monster rn cus heal go brrrr and better dmg with lament (can u confirm that lament heal can keep me alive despite having 30k ehp? no need to mentioned agi stuff cus i use monster and kinda know how annoying no agi ehp is at some point)

 

Yes, lament can keep you alive with 30k ehp (my fatal heals keep me alive at 30k ehp), gl selling your monster

 

oh yea I kinda forgot that mage don't need much ehp cus self heal go brrr. Understand.

 

For the first build you definetly want perfect mana regen on the stardew aswell as good raw spell (300+) and good water damage% (35%+) Mana steal is important too if your laments mana steal is bad. Id say the mana steal you end up with should be around 10. For lament obviously the mana steal, the 1st cost should be -51% or better and the water damage% should be as high as possible. Negative Lifesteal shouldnt matter at all. For the 2nd build the mana regen on the Stardew can be -3 and the mana steal on your lament and stardew dont matter as much. Rest is the same.

Tanky Lament 40k ehp 7k heals

Both good for raids, get def/agi buffs and cursestack on the bosses

and I would definitely prefer Lament over Monster because Monster's horrifying heal costs really kills you in raids despite the naturally high ehp.

 

abuse lament low cost insane heals and cursestack? Very balanced and not op. I already found a seller for my monster but sadly time zone problems.

Well it'll work, but not very great because the heal amount is low and the dmg isn't exactly high for a stardew lament build

 

i just want to find a way to cancel stardew -mr, is it possible?

-1 mana regen doesnt affect you, there is no need to cancel it, olny if -2 or less

Not really. The thing is that your mana sustain is just steal, and that is bad for tp spam cuz there are no mobs in the air to hit. So having just -1 wont change the fact that you cant go too far just with lament. Maybe with bonder you can tp better.
