anything that's been left somewhat abandoned, open for potential (eg. desert). slykaar is good too, and the void is an interesting concept, also open for potential (wind fortress?????).

 

Light forest ultimate discovery because it makes hsb and betweenlands canon in Wynncraft which is gaming

 

the story of the olm or anything that has to do with a lost civilisation.

drucksh has a barrel of nemract whiskey from '03 next to him, when you find him in his house and try to get him to talk about the place where his and sayleros' brother was buried. note that, as the "current date" of the wynncraft world is 1000 AP, this whiskey at the very least would be 97 years old- the earliest year that could be this "'03" is 903 AP.
according to some article, there was a bottle of whiskey of roughly similar age sold for 17,000 dollar- if we assume that that's for about 300 mL (which i think is supposed to be the average bottle size of the time), and we consider that the minecraft barrel is 1 cubic meter (equals 1000 liters), that comes out to the barrel being worth roughly 5,000,000 dollar.

it's not unreasonable to then assume this is the actual wealth from saylerous' rich brother who was killed, and that drucksh has already claimed it. makes sense sayleros would want to try to get a piece of it for himself.

I don't think i could ever have just one favorite, so here are my top three.
definitely the Twains, then the Caritats.
Not 100% sure this counts as lore, but i really like Dullahan's backstory.

The different types of magic too, like rune magic and cosmic magic. Interesting subjects when you dig deep.

 

The war of the realms in general. It takes the classic Light VS Dark scenario and kinda turns it on its head with the Corruption, basically the 3 most basic magic forces imaginable but used in an actually interesting manner. A bit disappointed we seemingly side with the Light (as you always do) instead of treating both Dark and Light as intruders. I guess it’s technically to keep balance (since the Light is losing) so maybe we won’t go all out Darkness-killer. Or maybe we will. Still my favourite piece of lore.

 

The cosmic horror of the Dern, for sure.
The slow build up of the Eye, the cults, the hidden things in the world that tell you how horrible and unimaginable it all is.
Shame that the actually thing isn't anywhere near as cosmic.

Being a massive fan of cosmic horror, I also love all the lore surrounding the Gylia Lake and all of that.

Everything silent expanse, I like the whole atmosphere and mood of the place (and music) and I absolutely love the ajf and ajb quests, best quest line in the game imo
