    Are you talking about from mining or the Rymek currency?

    If you're talking about mining, you need to be mining level 20. For the Rymek currency, there's a merchant in the Rymek bank that converts emeralds to gold ingots.

    I think you can also get gold ingots from killing bandits

    IF you mean the currency, you can buy some at the gold bar merchant in front of the rymek bank (note: its overpriced)
