Art Pixelart: Remasters and misc

I looked back at some of the sprites I've made over the time I've been doing this and realized that there is A LOT to improve. Hopefully, you'll find them up to par now.


REMASTERED: Rhythm of the Seasons

Earth weapons don't need to be green. I see that now.

REMASTERED: Alka Cometflinger
Old:

I remember being upset about this one. Now I'm not so upset anymore. This has been a remaster months in the making.



REMASTERED: Lament

Lament has gone through probably the most iterations of any sprite I've done. I was never really happy with how it looked before. Now, I can rest easy. I promise I won't change Lament again.


REMASTERED: Grandmother

Remember that outline phase of mine? I'm gonna try to forget it. I made a lot of mythics look worse by giving them an outline. To be honest, I do still like the old grandmother design. I think this could be an alternative, as this one has a more eldritch or elderly appearance.

MISCELLANEOUS

Alien
One of the relics of the outline era, although I think this one is an example of an outline sprite that looked good.


Duke Fishron from Terraria
This is one of these sprites that would benefit massively from having an animation. Just imagine the wings flapping and the tail wagging. Terraria (the calamity mod specifically) has been a huge inspiration for making sprites. Just look at some of the calamity weapon sprites, they're absolutely gorgeous.


I really don't know what to do from here. Leave some suggestions that you wanna see, such as ideas for more posters, though I don't know what people do with them.

 

RotS looks super unique and its an ellegant take on the vanilla big earth hammer

Nice QoL change to the proportions of Alka Cometflinger veri nais

Lament looks really really nice. I love the vibrance in the staff coupled wth the darker elements. I've been a fan of all your Lament iterations but this is my favourite

Still not a huge fan of gma but its an improvement on previous iterations and I can't say I can think of any ideas for it other than the default earth-wooden crossbow
