    I know this is probably a dumb question, but uh, I have been doing daily objectives for festival crates, and I have gotten nothing but player effects. Three. Spiderweb Effects. In. A. Row. Is it like rigged or something?

    (tho the same happened to me with 3 force fields in a row which is the worst one IMO, but I have gotten several epics from them)

    there isnt many different ones. Like player effects are common, so its like 70% chance. And theres only like 5 rares so its not very rare

    It's in the crates menu, you can choose to scrap 5 items of the same rarity for a higher rarity item

    No it's not, but it's not actually entirely random. You can control your result somewhat. You'll get the hang of it eventually, it's a timing thing.

    This isn't true. Your timing doesn't matter because the duration the items stop spinning for is randomized each time. This has been confirmed by members of the content team.

    True, but u can kinda time it
    It’s very unreliable but once u open a bunch u get a feel for how long it takes to stop on average
    Like I’ve gotten it to the point where it lands within 1 or 2 of what I want like every other time

    Well it’s fairly consistent like more than half the time it gets very close when I stop it at this specific point, I’d say it’s a bit more than luck
