Game/Anime Movie Soundtrack Recommendations for a Playlist

Greetings fellow gamers! ♪

After playing through a game I've been meaning to play for awhile called "Omori" and getting depression, I found some of the music in the game to be really good and that inspired me to make a playlist specifically for the relaxing OSTs and soundtracks in games and anime movies.

One of the songs that really struck me at the end was the final "Duet" at the end of the game, which I will not spoil but will say that it is now a song that will always give me the nostalgia and depression that I will associate to the game.

I've put in what I personally enjoy listening to and can remember, but I figured the Wynncraft Community would be a great place to ask for recommendations for any other relaxing OSTs and soundtracks that you personally have found memorable from games/anime movies you've watched in the past.

The night in the woods soundtrack has some really nice relaxing tracks (and also some more upbeat ones)! My faves of the relaxing ones are probably Angus Constellation, Lori M, Graveyard Main, and Fireflies on the Back Porch. Honestly, the whole soundtrack's really good and gives me so much nostalgia, especially all the town tracks and all the various crime tracks.
Oh and of the more upbeat ones I really like I'm Going to Break Something and Astral Fish

I couldn't find Angus Constellation and Graveyard Main, but I just listened to Lori M and Fireflies on the Porch and both sound great!
I've liked them so much I added them :D

 

If you're looking for more relaxing music, I can recommend GRIS' soundtrack by Berlinist, and the music of Austin Wintory (especially his soundtracks for Journay and ABZÛ).

try listening to the cowboy bebop soundtrack!
most of the songs are country, but there's a couple that sticks out from the rest;

• rain (female cover)
• ave maria
• the real man
• bad dog no biscuit

aswell as the over the garden wall soundtrack, its mostly folk music but the lyrics are really nice!
my personal favorites;

• miss langtree's Lament
• the beast is out there
• the highway man
• adelaide's trap
• old black train

imo I think most of the tracks from the Animal Crossing series can be very relaxing to listen to, 2am and 5am from New Horizons being a few examples I can think of.
I also think certain tracks from Silent Hill 2 like "White Noiz" could be relaxing in their own right.

 

Ah yeah I enjoy Animal Crossing Music but I'll give the Silent Hill thing a listen ^^
