How do corkian amplifiers work, are they infinite? One time use? do they boost all rerolls? I'm so confused..

Basically when u use it it gives a slightly higher chance to get a better roll (pretty sure on this)
If u use it on identifying it, then it only affects the identification. If you want to reroll and use an amplifier, you have to use another one for every reroll

What Ninja_vk said is true but it doesn't make a big difference when its on tier 1 or even tier 2

No, only the first item slot gets the boost. All positive identifications of that item get the boost though

when you identify, right-click the "Check" button with a corkian amplifier in your inventory to use one.

below is also a spoiler for the mechanics, but "better identifications" is really all you need to know.
Maybe also that they don't work on negative stats and that the effects are very minimal on good stats.
First you need to know about identification rolls:

Some stats on an item are dependent on a roll (they are random, mana regen, life steal) and some are not (skill points, health).
The stats which are dependant on a roll get a hidden multiplier before their base as you identify an item.

For positive stats, this multiplier is (0.3-1.3, or 30%-130%), can give any percentage between 30 and 130 and the result rounds down.
Meaning that an item with base 2 mana regen has a 70% chance to only have 1 mana regen (30% - 99% multiplier) and a 30% change to have 2 mana regen (100%-130% multiplier)

For negative stats this multiplier is (0.7-1.3), but the amplifiers don't work on them.

Corkian Amplifiers look at the amount of percentage after the percentage you got, and add their (5/10/15%) percentage of the percentage after the percentage you got and add it to the percentage you got.

    So let's say we rolled 30% with a T3 corkian amplifier (15%)
    Now we get 30% +((130% - 30%) * 15%) = 30% + 15% = 45%.
If this item had i.e. 100 life steal on it, we'd now get 35 life steal instead of 30 life steal.

    If we rolled base 100%, we'd instead get 100% + ((130%-100%) * 15%) = 100% + 4.5% = 104.5% --> rounded down, 104%
If this item had 100 life steal on it, we'd now get 104 life steal instead of 100 life steal.

for the base 2 mana regen our chance was 70% for 1 mr and 30% for 2 mr, with a T3 corkian amplifier, you need a roll of 95% instead of 100% to get 2 mana regen instead, so the chances become 65% for 1 mr and 35% for 2 mr.
