Guide Pig Puck Guide

HELLO-

After messing around with the game; Pig Puck, in North Lusuco, I learnt a few things I want to share with the community about the game.

First of all, what is Pig Puck???


Pig Puck is a game designed in 2016 as a part of the Wynnterfest celebration that was held in the Northern Lusuco part of Lusuco. There were mini-games and parkour but those have been removed for a while now. What remains is PIG PUCK! Theoretically, two teams would play against each other to score the Pig into the goal and allow the "Nets" mob to kill the Pig and score a point. Kind of like hockey?



Ok so get on with it Travis?? Everyone knows what Pig Puck is come on?

OK SO: hitting the Pig (or puck, idk what to refer to it as) hitting the PIG PUCK into the net scores a point yeah? well I tested a few different weapons and classes to see which one was the most effective at accomplishing this (a few friends that helped with this @Sir7alot @GraphicNovel @rDante @MntRunner ).

Attack Speed: The SLOWER the attack speed the farther the Pig Puck will get hit.
Wind Prison: brings the Pig Puck into the air and makes it more susceptible to strong knockback.
Ice Snake/Spin Attack: immobilizes the Pig Puck just like any mob susceptible to crowd control spells.
Arrow Shield: sends shit flying

Shaman.... SHAMAN is a huge double edged sword though. Its aura pulls the Pig Puck everywhere you want and no where it should be. Uproot can pull and push it but ALSO gives players you hit with uproot slowness! (likely a bug in 1.20.3 if you are reading this in the future lol, at least I'm sure its unintended??) but anyway, uproot should not effect players.. WTF SHAMAN LOL? ..... Shaman can also move the nets which often breaks the entire game and forcing everyone to /class.

Also the Pig Puck gets stuck in walls easily so you have to Curse the Pig Puck and deal a lot of damage to it to kill it and reset or /class... ah, greatly designed game.

You missed the most important part
the bit where the net shoots you with a load of 100k damage projectiles and immediately kills you when you get the puck in!

 

flashback to when I was level 60 trying to play pig puck and got murdered by the net

 

fun fact: probably the mob that deals the most damage in the game other than a highly defensed Guild Tower! :D

I remember wandering down there seeing a hockey rink with a pig, and I spent a good 10min knocking the pig back and forth into the nets cause I found it so amusing xD

 

We're really just gonna silence the existence of pigball like that huh
