Is it okay to apply powders that are less than tier 6 to your weapons?

I have been playing with some friends and when I got powders they told me to not use them and that they are a waste, I got tier 5s and 4s. Is it a waste to use them or just save up for a tier 6?

 

if you aren’t as rich, i’d suggest using t4 powders for now

 

I mean, what do you count rich? I have a few LE.

 

basically if you're poor or placing it on non-endgame weapons, tier 4
otherwise use tier 6
tier 5 is a weird inbetween

 

if you have a few LE definitely use tier 4 powders,
if you have like, half a stack of LE then you probably could use tier 5
If you feel like becoming a powder god and sacrificing about 10 LE then you use tier 6
tier 1-3 isn't viable in late-game as it doesn't give powder specials

 

I’d say use t4 if your broke or if you aren’t endgame yet
If u have more than a few le and can afford it then definitely get t6 cause it’s very worth it
T5 eh doesn’t seem worth it imo just use t4 or save for t6 cause t5 is semi expensive so when you eventually upgrade to 6 it’s just wasted, where as t4 it’s cheap enough that it doesn’t matter
