    How does loot cooldown work exactly? Because now that it started to happen to me for each chest it also breaks talking to NPC's so I can't do any quests or anything. If I try to speak to one, it just starts spamming the 1min cooldown and if I stay in the NPC talking radius it will never go away

    the npc thing is a wynntils bug, iirc - you should be able to fix it by disabling the option called 'redirect cooldown'

    the loot cooldown occurs when you open a chest and then go to the hub - you'll be on cooldown starting from when you last opened a chest on the old world. the length depends on the tier of chest you're trying to open in the new world: 3 mins for t1, 6 for t2, 12 for t3, and 24 for t4
