I need an explanation, this is outrageous

(My turn to do a large unfunny nitpick post I guess)

So I was on my Archer a week ago, leveling it up, and I did Flight in Distress, honestly one of the best quests in the game, and I really like the easter egg of the Skyraiders having things we found throughout Wynncraft, like the Red Crystal Shard, Mysterious Gemstone, and the Magical Fragments from Purple and Blue, but I found one thing that is absolutely disgusting, atrocious even.

LOOK AT THIS!!!1! In the Mercenary, the main antagonist WAS Ba'al, but his name changed to Takan to avoid confusion with Bak'al. But this... why? Why didn't the easter egg get updated?!!11?/

All in all, Flight in Distress is a 9.8/10, just fix that and it's good.

 

For all we know, Ba'al is now just some random guy who had the misfortune of having his badge stolen from him.

 

Unbelievable. Absolutely unforgivable.

 

Simple, the name change is in-universe, Ba'al changed his name canonically to distance himself from the terrible person that is Bak'al, however he still has badges printed with his old name on it, and that was what the sky raiders stole. This is my headcanon I do not write lore
