Best Class

Whats the best Class when i am using all special modes (Hardcore, Ironman, Craftsman, and Hunted)?

 

When it comes to Hunted mode, I think Ninja class is probably the best for escaping a fight since not only do you have all the basic spells but there's a tiny chance that your blatantly fake Shadow Clone will distract your enemy. However, that class is rank exclusive and the Shadow Clone is really obvious, so Assassin works just as well. However, Shaman is good in hunted too because it has the mythic Toxoplasmosis which is known to be ridiculously strong against people, especially those in large groups. When it comes to all 4 at once though, I'm not sure. Shaman used to be pretty decent with healing and stuff but it got nerfed a lot in 1.20 and is fairly weak at times now

I'd advise going with the class you're best at, but I've never done HICH so I advise waiting for a response from someone who has

 

I am also want to play with Craftsman so i have to craft all my gear

 

mage - dont have to waste time on consumables for healing

 

i'd say mage; no need for consumables, fast recovery, fast escape with teleport + blind

 

Sometimes you'll have a big lag spike or get suprised by a random enemy, this is the most likely way you will die. The class with the best 'Oh no I'm about to die' button would be assassin/ninja's vanish, so long as you make sure you always have health potions on you you can vanish out of aggro and heal and immediately vanish. Charge and escape are much less reliable in actually getting you out of a situation and mage's teleport just doesn't always work.

It's also the best class for getting out of PvP situations.

the basic consumables are also kindof "health potions" which is probably what he meant

 

You can use crafted health potions, right?

If you craft a potion (or food/scroll for that matter) without any ingredients, it gives health like a normal health potion would.
The potions are even a little better than they would otherwise be at level, even with T1 materials.
(scrolls last I checked a little worse but AOE and cooking gives health over a longer period of time)
