First and foremost, I'm new here, so how are things going for you during this pandemic?
I'm new and a level 37 shaman, and I'd like to know how you guys find money on Wyncraft. and I'd like to know how you level up your horses quickly.
and I was thinking about creating a secondary class based on what you recommend; however, I am open to any suggestions and the reasoning behind them.

 

level up horse: just run around while watching netflix
secondary class: Mage. Everyone should have a level 100 mage. It's such a versatile class and with built in healing, you'll basically never die as long as you have enough ehp not to get 1shot.
make money: lootrunning (also done with mage)

 

you can buy already leveled up horses and wont have to go through the pain
at your level you could probably afford a 20/20 black from the market
making money is pretty much endgame, other than that you end up around a stack of le just by doing all your quests

 

I agree with everything here apart from the mage supremacy

 

To make money at your level, just do quests. Some of them give a surprising amount of emeralds. But at later levels you can get loot bonus gear and open chests. And for a secondary class I would recommend warrior as it is a good class for beginners.

for now just do quests for money and save up for a endgame shaman build
on your first playthrough i recommend doing everything

 

To earn money : Loot running & Gathering ingredients
To lvl horses : Runnig around without using teleport scrolls
Recommended 2nd class : I've choiced mage as the first class, cuz they can cast healing spell. So I recommend mage if you want to heal without items. But if you want to gain high firepower, you should choice other classes. ex.Archer, Assassin

 

Thank you all for your kind comments on my thread. I appreciate all of your advice, but what exactly is loot running? Is it a type of event or just running around looking for chests? Could someone please explain it to me?

 

Exactly yes. Looking for Lootchest, and claim them.
If you do lootrunning it's better to have high loot bonus.

 

Step 1: Find a rich person to become friends with.
Step 2: Leach off of them.
Step 3 if you're lucky: They leave wynn and give all their stuff.

 

Wow, thank you so much for all of this information. I'm thinking about going with archer or hunter, but I'll try to level up to level 100 first and max out other skills before making another class.

HAHAHAHA That's also completely right, but only if I use my one-year luck for it.

 

A less mean way to put it is make friends. You never know the benefits that friends can give.

 

basically
theres a mod called wynntils
and it tracks player movement
and you can record yourself going through all the chests in one area
and then the next time you need money load up that file and then follow where you went last time and loot all the chests
imo i would keep emeralds, keep good items (medeis for example), and keep t4+ powders
potions are common so dont take any other than 1 or 2 if you dont have any
popular lootrunning areas are sky island, silent expanse, corkus, etc
also for people lootrun around ragni for rarities but i feel like thats 100% reliant on rng while other places are like 90% reliant on rng

 

Thank you for responding and for the advice. I've been using Wyntills' mod since I first started playing Wyncraft, and I can't seem to find a load loot runs file to use.

 

Just join the lootrunning discord, they have some there

 

You create a magic spell that increases your loot bonus and loot quality stats up to 2000% and then praise to the lords in the hope that you get a mythic (spoiler, you won't)

Also I guess raids can be profitable with some luck too, also quests give a lot of money in the later half of the game
