This is a very easy to get build and I recommend this one.

If this is your first character this build will feel pretty good, as it offers a decent Loot/XP bonus at level 100.

Once you have more LE for expensive items (Mythics or crafted or both) you can build a Time Rift Mage, if you really want to DPS as a Mage.

 

They did say end game though and morph/nothing isn’t really for after leveling is done. The peaceful rest build will be better for content such as warring and raids.

 

If you interpret "endgame" as the absolute "min-max", then a Peaceful Rest build I would not consider "endgame". I'd suggest Mythics or Crafted items. My interpretation of "endgame" is when you hit level 100 and everything after that.

The person requesting the build is currently level 64. When it comes to helping people with builds it is always good to prepare a "midway" build. A Morph The Nothing build is a very easy and reliable way to farm up the required items for "better, more endgame" builds.

Morph + The Nothing is able to tackle any content ingame, albeit not as good as a very high investment build.

 

what? why would legendaries not be endgame lmao, most people don't have mythics and crafteds have significant drawbacks that many people don't want to deal with

 

I did not state legendaries cannot be endgame, I just used an example for absolute min-maxing I'd suggest Mythics or crafted.

I just think there are different layers of "endgame" (a process rather than an absolute state) and before you get all the LI items etc. it would be nice to have a build that can easily fill that gap post 100 that can help you get those things and is fast to setup.
