Why cant i enter the cave at the mage island to get the tample of legends

I just looked at the wiki and it says i need to get the sky vapor, now i saw whre it the is but i just cant get in
it showes me this:

Are u at the part of the quest where it asks u to gather 12 sky vapor yet, cause I don’t think u can do it before that step (could be wrong tho)
