Lore/Story Qira X Gale Fanfiction

Qira sighed to herself as she rose from bed in the middle of the night. Another sleepless night, her fear for what was coming ate her up inside. She knew of the upcoming danger, and she knew the world was not ready for it. She got up and paced around her room, thinking about what to create next.
Gale casually strolled the halls, she didn't sleep now that she was a ghost. She had never really treasured her life until it was gone, and now she missed things such as eating and sleeping. She never really considered the finer points of life, and she never really thought about what would happen after she died.
As Gale was strolling the halls, she accidentally floated right through Qira. "Watch it, mistress" Gale exclaimed. Qira, not being in the mood to deal with Gale's free spirit, sighed and began walking away. Gale had never seen the mistress sad and decided to investigate.
"Hey, what's up with you," asked gale, floating beside her mistress. "Not now gale" Qira retorted "I'm not in the mood for you". "Oh yeah, well I'm in the mood for you" Gale blurted out, before immediately realizing how it sounded. Gale expected Qira to snap back, but she swore she saw a look, unlike anything she had seen in her mistresses eyes before.
"How about we go and chat" Qira quietly replied. Little did she know where this would lead.

Qira looked at gale and felt nothing but regret. She had killed gale, and gale never failed to remind her of that. She wishes things could have been different, but gale knew what was happening when she challenged Qira, and she knew what would happen if she failed.
Gale looked at Qira and felt anger, but also something else. She did not realize this, but it was pity. She knew what Qira must be feeling, knowing the things she knows and not being able - or ready - to tell anyone. She wished she could ease Qira's suffering, and she knew not how she could even begin to attempt this.
As Qira and Gale walked down the long, long hallway with each other, they eventually arrived at the leader's eating area. It was empty, being so late at night, minus the one servant who cooked and served food. Qira motioned for Gale to sit. Qira herself chose a seat directly opposite the table, then ordered a servant to get some food for her.
The servant stammered "w-what d-d-d-do you want m-m-mistress Qira". "Anything will do" Qira replied, shocking the servant as she almost said it with what almost seemed like kindness, a trait most unusual for her. The servant shuffled off and began cooking food.

Qira and gale began idle chitchat, ultimately not leading anywhere fruitful. Qira looked at gale and blurted out "I'm sorry". Gale sat there stunned, Mistress Qira was many things, but sorry was never one of them. Gale didn't even begin to know how to respond, and Qira just sat there, almost looking... angry, confused, and a bit shocked herself.
"For what" Gale finally managed to say, after a period of silence. "You know what, I do not wish to speak of this anymore," Qira said with an air of superiority. "As you wish, your most illustrious mistress." gale retorted back. She knew this would annoy Qira, who hated the fake persona of reverence that Gale put on.
Qira continued to consume her food when all of a sudden she began choking. Gale assumed she must have some sort of spell to fix this, and it became very clear she didn't after 20 seconds without oxygen. In a panic, gale tried to figure out what to do, and then the thought came to her that she was a ghost.
Gale floated down Qira's throat and took out the food with her power of the wind. Qira, sucking in oxygen, was shocked at the events that had just occurred. On one hand, Gale had just saved her life, on the other, she not felt something... different. Something she had never felt before.
"Thank you Gale" Qira finally managed to say, not sure of how to proceed. "We will discuss this later," Qira said, quickly getting up and leaving the room. Gale sat there and began to think...

as painful already as this was to read, the thing that bothers me the most is the lore inconsistency with ''qira killed gale'' which is not true according to the lore of a few items, confirmations by selvut and on-map locations

I'm not sure if you noticed but there are a lot more things about this lore that are inconsistent. Like, you could pick any passage from this and it probably doesn't fit in lore. That's what fanfiction is. Supposition and headcanon
