First Class Chosen

I am curious about what everyone else picked as their first class and which one is most popular. Please answer honestly. :)

SOLDIER

the first class I picked was mage. I hate mage. at the time I only picked mage because magic sounds cool (even though I would argue that the other classes have better special effects than mage other than ice snake). mage playstyle is kinda meh and it doesn't do much damage

archer was the easiest playthrough and probably most popular
shaman was fun at first but it got nerfed and also just auraspamming gets boring
assassin is cool
warrior is cool and definitely my favorite

 

Mage :D

Mage just has this fluidity to it, any spell has it’s place in any situation.

And broo solider class sounds so cool, would definitely play it if it was a thing

Archer. Because I saw my brother playing Archer back in 2013
My first post-gavel class was assassin though, because I didn't play during the mob update up until Gavel, and I thought "yooo this class is no longer behind a paywall???"
Now I main assassin

 

Warrior. Had no clue spells existed upon joining, so I felt like having a shovel would be far more reliable than a shear or bow as my only weapon.

 

Assassin best class.

 

I picked mage way back in the pre-gavel days when it was the worst (or second worst, can't quite remember) class. I eventually gave up and switched to assassin.

 

I chose mage cause I’m always mage in games, but when lvling up an archer when I was lvl 30 I ditched mage and am now a lvl 103 archer main
I’ve tried out the other classes too tho and I like them all, but my favs are mage (self heal) and assassin (fun spell combos)
I like shaman for its oraoraora spam and warriors insane tankyness too tho

 

Mage because I thought it sounded the coolest

 

I originally chose archer because I liked attacking enemies from a distance

Ironically my current archer playstyle now involves going up to melee range on enemies and using a repeating spell combo of arrow storm and bomb arrow to maximize damage output lmao

 

I chose mage because magic is cool

 

Warrior, biggest mistake I've ever done

 

assassin, pretty good class, just hate how you have to melee stupid "shotgun" mobs

 

Warrior, and I stuck with it until max level

But honestly idk if it's the best starting class since it doesn't teach you to be very good at the game bc heal spell, and it suffers from a major damage deficit until it gets meteor.

 

i often pick a mage character in RPGs, but decided to mix stuff up in wynn and chose assassin. it was definently the best choice i could've made for myself looking back at it

 

I chose archer as my first class because I wanted to be able to attack from a distance and avoid getting hit.
It didn’t exactly go as planned, and after an hour of nonsense and dying I switched with my friend so he could try the server out.
He went with warrior, and although it probably boiled down to the fact that he was just more skilled than me, I believed that warrior was much stronger after seeing him play.
So after his hour of gameplay we switched back and I immediately made a new warrior profile.
Idk if I just got gud or if it was the placebo effect or something, but I felt like I did much better with it and I stuck with that warrior class ever since.
Greatest decision I’ve ever made, go warrior gang.
