Unfortunately the gathering speed id is currently limited solely to consumables, so you aren't able to craft a gathering speed armor set. Another annoying thing is that the gathering speed ingredients for consumables only drop from rare mobs (to my knowledge), so they are pretty difficult to obtain.

This being said, I have some gathering speed consumables that I am trying to make viable.

Cost:
I won't bore you with a lot of text. Of note: Lower level tier 3 mats obtainable from raids sell for very cheap and are a good budget option. Most gspeed mats are rare on the trade market, but if you see some cheap ones (~8-12 eb a piece), buy them up. Alternatively, if you have a good setup, you can farm some of these ingredients yourself.
Gist: You can make gspeed consumables for 1-5 le depending on how good your trade market deals are/whether you use budget items or not.

Is Gspeed worth it?
So, in 8 minutes, I gathered 67 dernic grain farming without gspeed (I am farming lvl. 113 btw). Ideally, with 21% gspeed (8:00 per potion charge) I would be able to gather 21% more mats, or ~14 extra mats. If the potion I was using had 5 charges, this would be a total of 70 extra mats. Let's assume on average, a dernic mat is worth 3 eb on the trade market. In this case, my gspeed potion would have net me 210 eb (~3.3 le). This particular potion (tropical honeysuckle with 2 golden avia feathers) I would value at ~2 le, so it would be potentially worth it to invest in the potion.
Issues:
1. Not all time is spent gathering. Some is spent walking.
Solution: Walking time is fairly negligible, especially with high walk speed
2. Once you reach a certain gathering speed, you are able to farm all nodes in the area before the first one you farmed regens, so gspeed effectiveness kind of maxes out.
Solution: Yeah, gspeed is only useful is you are farming in an area with lots of nodes or if you are just a couple gathering levels higher than the area you're farming in. But in those situations, it could be profitable.

This being said, I have some gathering speed consumables that I am trying to make viable. For alchemy, the best ingredient to use is evolving spores. Evolving spores are also pretty nice because there are typically a decent amount of them on the market. Here (https://wynndata.tk/cr/645692310) is an evolving spores potion with a duration of ~15 minutes and a gathering speed of 36% to 40%. You can increase the gathering speed to the 45% to 50% range by substituting another evolving spore for one of the ancient hearts, but your duration will be hurt significantly, dropping to the 5 minute range. Some variations: you can use death whistle leaves instead of ancient hearts for a duration in the 7 minute range but 5 charges instead of 3. You can also use purest tears instead of ancient hearts, which are significantly easier to find (you can get them from pond nymphs in the light forest as opposed to having to hunt down rare mobs for the ancient hearts). This will put your duration per charge in the 8 minute range. I went with tier 2 dernic mats, which are viable to farm (even if it does take a while), or I have seen them on the trade market for ~8 eb a piece. You can also try level 90 mats, where you can use tier 3 sorghum grains obtainable from raids (~3 eb a piece) and tier 2 molten oil (~8 eb a piece) for a duration fairly comparable to using tier 2 dernic mats. Anyways, assuming you use tier 2 dernic mats, the mat cost is ~144 eb, and the ingredient cost is ~48 eb (assuming all the rare mobs ingredients sell for ~8 eb a piece). If you use the lvl. 90 mats I mentioned above, you can bring your mat cost down to ~84 eb. So in total I would say you could realistically make one of these potions for between 2 and 4 le depending on how good your deals on the trade market are/if you decide to obtain these materials yourself.

Here (https://wynndata.tk/cr/902361809) is a simple gathering speed pot using tropical honeysuckle. The nice thing about this one is it also gives a 24% to 36% walk speed boost along with the 24% to 30% gathering speed boost. With tier 2 dernic mats, this potion grants a duration in the 10 minute range. The tropical honeysuckle typically goes for ~8 eb on the market, but often there is none available. You can also farm for the honeysuckle yourself by killing Ijaba Molsks in the Troms jungle, but the spawns are fairly inconsistent. Since honeysuckle is so difficult to come by, I typically substitute the bottom 2 ingredient spots with golden avia feathers, still granting 20% to 24% gathering speed and a duration in the 8 minute range, while giving you 2 extra charges. Once again, I would say you could make one of these potions for between 2 and 4 le.

For cooking I use tangy nectar. You can get it from rare mobs in the dernel jungle near the fountain of youth, and they spawn there fairly frequently. If there is any cheap nectar on the market, you can also buy it there. Here (https://wynndata.tk/cr/978990107) is a tangy nectar food with a solid 18% gathering speed and duration of almost 30 minutes per charge! You can substitute some salted salmon into this recipe if you happen to have some of that instead.

Finally, I don't use scribing (my woodcutting level is very low), but here (https://wynndata.tk/cr/970053619) is something I quickly whipped up with soul amalgamates. You can swap the death whistle leaf for another amalgamate to boost the gathering speed up to 30%, at the cost of almost halving your duration and losing a charge.

I wrote this up kind of quickly, but I will update this post later tonight with some more small details. Anyone else, feel free to comment more suggestions.

Lol, no problem. I have really gotten into cooking and alchemy recently, and trying to make gathering speed consumables work is something I'm pretty interested in. I'm hoping soon they add some gathering speed ingredients that aren't rare-mob-exclusive so gathering speed can be more viable.
